Hello. I am Mami from emuelu.
I was born and raised in Osaka, Japan but now live in Sydney, Australia.

I learnt knitting from my mum, and crocheting from my grandma when I was in primary school
but didn’t keep doing them at that time. However, I came across a very nice handmade blanket
one day in my late 20s, and that brought me deep in love of knitting and crocheting.

I couldn’t stop knitting and was always hunting new patterns to knit before I had my first daughter. 
A few years of doing it, I became to think I want to make my own items for my daughters.
That’s how I started emuel.

I believe knitting and crocheting bring me (and you!) comfort, joy and happiness.
